Overview:
In this course, we will practice the different steps involved in the Commentaire part of the CAPES’s Epreuve disciplinaire.
Students will:
- review the tools of literary analysis,
- acquire the necessary contextual information about literature, culture and history in the English-speaking world,
- practice the methodology of close reading, textual analysis, comparing and contrasting literary and visual documents,
- and strengthen their reading, speaking, and writing skills in English.
