This course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge in IR, i.e. an overview of the concepts, key terms, a few case studies, in the hope you will acquire:
- a better understanding of today’s world and some important issues in global politics;
- a broader perspective of today’s issues (we will rely mostly on recent case studies);
- a background to prepare you for your future classes (HP, SP, International cooperation, Emerging countries, etc.);
- analytical tools.
