        • use specific, relevant examples to prove your have skills

        • compelling reason of your interest in the company

        • explain what you can bring, your value

        d) signing-off.

        • stress that you are a good fit and that job suits your career ambitions/ longer term plans

        DON’Ts

        - Take your time to write

        - read the job description carefully and highlight important responsibilities

        - upload your CV to the most popular hiring websites

        - make your CV look good, tailor spacing and fonts

        - have your CV proofread by a mentor/ friend

        - use keywords from the job description

        - start with an introductory paragraph

        - place work experiences before education

        - talk about soft skills : organisation, teamwork, flexibility, keeping deadlines, people skills

        - less is more!

        - don’t re-use the same CV for several job offers

        - don’t write too much (lengthy paragraphs)

        - do not use cliché terms

        - don’t list everything you’ve ever done

        - avoid including a skills section

        - don’t make it too fancy or original !

        - don’t exceed 2 pages
